Why should I advertise on your site?
Well, it's free so you've got nothing to lose!
What's the catch?
There isn't one. All we ask is that you consider donating to the Big C Appeal. When your advert has been submitted you will be redirected to The Big C Appeal website, where we hope you'll consider making a donation. Also, a reciprocal link from your website to NorwichPixels would be appreciated but is not mandatory.
How do I place my advert?
Simply click on a blue block. This is the upper left of the 50x50pixel block you are advert will appear on. You will then be asked if you want to place the ad. Click "Yes" and you wil be directed to the next screen. NOTE: If when placing your advert it is not correctly positioned (i.e. if a blue square has not been selected, then our administrators will position it correctly.
If the Ads are provided in blocks of 50x50 (2500) pixels why is the page showing as blocks of 10x10, with blue blocks to click on to place an advert?
This is because showing the blue 10x10 pixel block helps to explain pixel sizes (see seperate FAQ about pixel sizes.)
What if I haven't got a website?
You can still take advantage of this superb pixel site. If you have an e-mail address you could choose to fill this in to the "website address" panel instead by putting "mailto:" followed by your email address. To do this simply type your email address in the website address and your message (e.g "Contact Us!") in message box. This will then prompt the potential customer with the option of e-mailing you.
How big is a pixel?

The image I want to use is not 50x50 pixels. What can I do?
If you need help resizing your image go to this website. If this doesn't help you could create a transparent 50X50 pixel background and then add a reduced sized version of your image. You can find out more information about this by clicking a Help button (Select where you want to place your Ad and the help buttons are on the "Place Your Ad" form.)
Is my Advert acceptable?
We will not accept adverts that promote pornography, violence, hatred or discrimination. The administrators decision is final.
I've placed a free pixel advert -How long will my advert appear on your site?
Free Adverts will be on the site for 100 days (from the time of submission.) When you're advert expires you're welcome to come back again and re-submit your advert.
How quickly will my advert appear on the site?
We endeavour to process new adverts as quick as possible - ideally within 48 hours - please be patient if it's a bit longer.
My pixel ad has recently been added to your site, but the link doesn't work.
If an error has been made when adding your advert, please inform us within 10 days of it appearing and we'll amend it.
Can I change the link to another website?
The website link cannot be changed to another site.
Can I change my advertising details?
As this is a free service pixel adverts cannot be changed once placed. The only exception to this is if there has been an error with the link.
